As per the University Regulations, we take admission in Graduation and Post Graduation in the sanctioned subjects*.

Admission Procedure for Degree Courses:
- The Patliputra University has also initiated an online portal for the admission in Degree Courses. The applications are invited on the Online Portal and then the applicants are allotted the Honours Subjects and Colleges as per the Merit List.
- Eligibility Criteria for taking admission in Degree Courses:
- Intermediate (10+2) or Equivalent pass out from the recognised institution
- The applicant must have secured at least 45% marks in the opted subject for Honours at Intermediate Level or equivalent.
- The Science Stream students who want to opt Arts Stream must have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate at Intermediate Level or equivalent.
- The Commerce Stream students who want to opt Arts Stream must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate at Intermediate Level or equivalent.
- To opt Language subjects as Honours, the applicant must have read that subject (of 100 Marks) at Intermediate level in which he/she must have secured at least 45%.
- To opt Physics Honours, the applicant must have read Physics and Mathematics at Intermediate level.
- To opt Mathematics Honours, the applicant must have read Physics and Mathematics at Intermediate level.
Note: The applicant must be aware of the aforementioned rules before applying on the University Portal.
- Verification Process: Our Admission Committee verifies the concerning documents of the applicant as per the admission guidelines and merit list published by the University.
- Checklist for verification
- Intimation Letter issued by the University
- Xerox copy of 10th Mark sheet along with Original one
- Xerox copy of (10+2)th/ Intermediate Mark sheet along with Original one
- Original College Leaving Certificate
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Migration (if applicable)
- Payment of Admission Fee
- Updation on the University Portal
Note:
- The applicant must be aware of the selection of Subjects at the time of applying the forms, otherwise he/she may face a trouble at the time of registration.
- The information filled by the applicant while applying the forms must be true and genuine.
- The admission forms shall be rejected in the following case:
- Discrepancy in the information provided by the applicant
- Lack of aforementioned certificates
Admission Procedure for Post Graduation Courses:
We have Post Graduation courses in the following subjects (check course list in academic menu). The process in taking admission in Post Graduation
is likewise the Degree Courses. The University invites the application for the admission and merit list is sent to the concerned
college. We, thereafter, begin the verification process as per the admission guidelines of the University.
- Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduation Courses:
- The applicant must be a Graduate pass out from a recognised institution.
- The post graduation subject shall be the same as his Honours subject.
- Checklist for verification:
- Intimation Letter issued by the University
- Xerox copy of 10th Mark sheet along with Original one
- Xerox copy of (10+2)th/ Intermediate Mark sheet along with Original one
- Xerox copy of Graduation Mark sheet along with Original one
- Original College Leaving Certificate (if applicable)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Migration (if applicable)
- Admission Fee Payment
- Updation on the University Portal
